No visit to Nashville is complete without a stop at Tootsies Orchid Lounge. This iconic bar has been a staple of the city's music scene since the 1960s, hosting legendary performers such as Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline. Stepping inside Tootsies is like stepping back in time, with its vintage decor and walls adorned with memorabilia from music's golden era.

During our visit, we were fortunate enough to witness the raw talent that graces the stage at Tootsies every night. Musicians from all walks of life come here to share their passion, and the energy in the room is palpable. What sets Tootsies apart is the unique opportunity it offers to make a song request in exchange for a donation.

As we found a spot amongst the crowds, we eagerly made our song requests, ready to contribute to the musical magic. We soon discovered that some songs, particularly the more popular or challenging ones, required a minimum pledge of $100. It was a small price to pay for the chance to hear our favourite tunes performed live by talented musicians. An example of a Premium song was “The Devil went down to Georgia” and it was truly worth every penny !!

As we stepped into the shop, we were greeted by rows upon rows of beautifully crafted boots and a dazzling array of hats. The friendly staff was more than happy to assist us in finding the perfect fit and style. It was a true Nashville experience, embracing the city's unique fashion culture.
